Through the College Connect Program, I actively promoted Mood Indigo 2024, IIT Bombay's premier cultural festival, as an Indigo Squad Member. I earned CCP points for my efforts by interacting with peers, sharing event updates, and using my referral code to increase the festival's reach. I worked with a vibrant group of students and organizers to help spread the word about Mood Indigo through digital outreach. It was an amazing experience to be a part of the 54th edition of Mood Indigo, one of the largest college festivals in Asia. As a campus ambassador for Rendezvous’24, IIT Delhi’s flagship tech and cultural fest, I had the opportunity to lead grassroots outreach and digital promotion efforts within my college community. This remote internship challenged me to build excitement among peers, increase visibility for the event, and foster participation through strategic engagement.
Each day, I was assigned time-bound tasks—ranging from designing content and promoting events on social platforms to coordinating interest forms, inviting participants, and driving peer engagement. I consistently met deadlines, adapted quickly to evolving goals, and ranked on the leaderboard based on my performance metrics.
Beyond just promotion, I honed critical skills in leadership, campaign execution, and digital outreach. I learned how to create buzz, manage my time effectively, and collaborate remotely with a broader team. Completing all the tasks successfully earned me a Certificate of Participation and a Letter of Recommendation for my contribution.
This experience helped me grow as a communicator and organizer while reinforcing the importance of consistency, accountability, and creative thinking—skills I actively bring into my work as a tech enthusiast and full-stack developer.
