• The Main Purpose of Interface is to convert FIX and CMS Protocol to BRASS specific protocol, and send it to BRASS Servers. The network Protocol is TCP/IP. Financial Information Exchange is the standard protocol used by Many Financial Institutions. Interface has the knowledge of Protocols. Connection with ECN’s through FIX and route orders to them via FIX interface.

• At the end of day, securities which declare dividend should be applied. Fidelity and FT interactive are the vendors which are supposed to dividend file every day. Job of this utility is to apply dividends for the eligible orders. Main project was to write parser, which will parse file which was sent by vendors and apply correct CASH/STOCK dividend for the eligible orders. Two vendors have different formats. Proxy tables created for dividend, so that all the complexes, will just refer to one table, then dividend utility will run on individual complex, so that all the orders on all complex will be updated.

• This was project where Migration from proprietary FIX to standard Cameron FIX. Legacy project was in C++, but with Cameron, plan was to move to JAVA. Duration : 1 Year Language/Tools : JAVA and Solaris, Sybase. Description : This was the project to understand Cameroon FIX and implement in JAVA. This was the gateway which was built on JAVA. Changes were made to accommodate Cameroon FIX for Legacy Servers. As Servers only understand Proprietary protocol, Library was built in JAVA, which will convert Cameron FIX to BRASS protocol. This was critical project as per Client.

• The Purpose of MDS is to understand Exchange protocol and convert Market data to proprietary protocol (V5). This is multithreaded application written in C++. MDS is used to provide Order Book to Server. Bid/Ask/Trading Phase for specific instrument to Server. There are different exchanges in APAC region eg. China exchange, Hongkong Exchange, Singapore exchange, Malaysia exchange.
