I do recruitment. I’ve been sourcing, interviewing and bringing people on board for 11+ years. Make business driven talent decisions. Quality over quantity.   • I joined early stage punk team of CEAi back in 2017 as employee #25 and the very first recruiter. We built an AI startup studio that launched 4 international companies that use machine learning to change how big industries such as fintech, biotech, insurance or health care work.
  • I helped to hire 130+ talented folks across engineering, product, design, business, operations and leadership teams in CE and US, and cooperated with executive search firm on filling CEO roles for these companies. I lead talent efforts at organization with distributed and growth driven teams, #HTFU culture modelled after OG Silicon Valley startups.
  • We built a recruiting organization where finding & engaging the best talent was everybody’s job. Creating a structured and repeatable process, we were able to tackle niche roles, quickly conquer new markets, provide positive candidate experience and minimize subjective bias when it came to hiring decisions.
  • I took all these lessons learned and turned them into Talent Playbook, and then implemented it and run recruitment in all incubated and spin-off startups.

  • While working as Personnel Consultant, I felt like our company needed a bit more visibility in online environment, so I came up with editorial plan and marketing strategy draft. After that, we figured out we needed full-time person to take care of marketing stuff and my CEO asked me: "Simonka, do you want to do it?" I have quite a history of jumping into exciting projects in areas I have little or no experience and this was no exception.
  • I learned how to manage social accounts, communication strategy, advertising and promotion. I helped with organization of 3-days party to celebrate 20th anniversary and initiated website redesign. With our awesome IT department we created new service TalentScan (www.lugera.solutions/talentscan/) to leverage our database of screened candidates and connect them to companies.
