About

I'm Amitesh Das, a student from BITS Goa who is currently pursuing economics. My highlight from my first year was creating a football league with my peers called "OFFSIDE" which taught me a lot and has motivated me to pursue something in the realm of entrepreneurship. I learnt leadership through sports like football and cricket and resilience from badminton and squash. I'm proficient in art (kala), music (piano), debates, etc. I have secured international ranks of 6 and 8 in the International Math Olympiad and over 20 gold medals in science at national, state, and school levels. Passed multiple math olympiads like NMTC, IOQM, and Pre RMO that require critical thinking. Got a rank of 251 in the ISI entrance test. OFFSIDE merged with the sports board and FITSOC to create an umbrella body called BGSC (BITS GOA Sports Club) that is the one-stop solution to all sports on campus (Leagues, events, clubs, projects, etc.) - in charge of all the sports leagues (OFFSIDE - football; AIRBALL - basketball; POWERPLAY - cricket; etc.)
I have a coordinating position here as the PR and Outreach Coordinator.
