• CommVault is one of the leading enterprise Data-Backup solutions provider with its product Simpana. During my engagement with CommVault I got a chance to work in the Server and Job Monitoring team. Some of the specific projects I was involved in are:
•  Engaged in development of a major feature ‘Log Monitoring’ that helped automatically detecting undesired events during a data backup and notifying the administrator so that he takes appropriate action
•  Implemented the project Third Party Protocol Management in server side of the client-server configuration, which was meant to enhance security by accessing critical machines through proxies
•  Improvised the feature Log Monitoring such that the feature could be supported in different Operating Systems such as Linux, AIX, Solaris and all flavours of Unix besides Microsoft Windows
•  Facilitated in fetching the job history of clients, enhancing the Job Manager subsystem of our software Simpana
