• Executed a Global Company Car Fleet Management (Budget: USD $30 million) and Material Handling Fleet Management projects (Budget: USD $4 million) as a lead buyer. Further, achieved a saving of 8% (USD $2.1 million) and 10% (USD $0.4 million) respectively by integrating the requirement under a single contract, negotiating favourable terms and conditions, and the interest rates on the lease of the vehicles, and delivering the maximum value by lowering our risks.
• Led and executed stategic sourcing of recruitment services across ANZ region for white & blue collar hiring with a spend of USD $24Mn. Delivered savings of USD $1.92Mn (8%) by implementing the 80/20 strategy. This helped in optimizing the contracts from 27 to 6, achieving better agency rates, improved contract T&Cs, build strong supplier relationships and consistent KPIs.

• Managed large-scale complex indirect strategic sourcing projects for Woolworths Group across IT, fleet management, recruitment, warehouse operations and facility management categories (Spend: AUD $55Mn). Delivered savings of AUD $8Mn (15%) through proper spend analysis, category allocation, demand consolidation, qualitative and quantitative analysis, price benchmarking and long term contracts. Further, assisted them with sourcing strategy development, Negotiations, RFx development, and execution. Recommended supplier KPI’s and enhanced reporting techniques for improved supplier and category management.
• Led and executed strategic sourcing of MRO supplies & Indirect categories for CSR Limited, Australia (Largest building products manufacturer) with a spend of AUD $18Mn. Delivered savings of AUD $1.8Mn (10%) through consolidation and allocation of categories, tail spend analysis, long terms contracts to obtain economies of scale and price benchmarking across APAC region.
• Supply chain risk assessment projects: Optimised the logistic network and the rostering schedule of drivers for online delivery by using the BasicMOST method. Further, helped the company realise a cost saving of AUD $27Mn in salaries annually by creating an agile network and reducing the time spent on delivery through frequency sampling and statistical modelling of data.
• Successfully built a data model & process map for Woolworths and BIGW, Australia to optimize customer checkout system using Time & Motion methodology, improved internal supply chain processes and forecasted an optimized rostering schedule across all its stores in turn achieving a cost saving of close to AUD $30 million annually.
• Successfully analysed the customer care operations of Commonwealth Bank, Australia using BasicMOST methodology & statistical modelling to optimize & improve their internal processes to set labor standards and forecast a significant amount of cost saving.

• Key Achievements:
• Successfully executed strategic procurement of stainless steel pipes and pipe spools with an investment of USD $900Mn for the entire Jamnagar-3 Expansion Program, which is the world’s largest petroleum refinery spread across 45 Kms and diversified into 18 different plants inside the refinery.
• Led and executed static and rotary mechanical package procurement with an investment of USD $50Mn in accordance with the project schedule and quality requirements specified by the Licensor, Detail engineering consultants and in-house requirements. Further, developed the Total Cost of Ownership, Product Lifecycle and Service Lifecycle cost models of equipment.
• Developed a model to optimize and reduce operational complexity in the logistic network with the use of RFID tags, which led to centralising the sea freight network of 10Mn MT of stainless steel pipes from Middle East to India. Further, realised a USD $2Mn demurrage charge by initiating and streamlining department processes that reduced the time taken to obtain internal engineering and quality clearances to vendors to 2-3 days (instead of 12-15 days). This helped vendors complete their equipment supply on time from previous delays of 3 months.
• Achieved savings of more than USD $1.47Mn on Chiller Unit Project for Polymer, Cracker and Gasification Control Centres by negotiating with the vendor on techno-commercial aspects.

• Key Achievements
• Successfully Coordinated the strategic sourcing and planning of more than 5000 MT monthly of sheet metal, moulds and wire rods from India and China, other mechanical equipment, spare parts, chemicals specialised rubber, Indirect services & MRO categories from domestic and international vendors with a spend portfolio of INR 50Cr.
• Developed an in-house polyurethane plant to manufacture polyurethane products that resulted in a saving of more than INR 27Cr. These products were previously imported from Germany at three times the cost.
• Reduced air freight costs by INR 3Cr from Germany and China by negotiating terms and entering into a rate contract with freight forwarders.
