• オーストラリア生まれ。もともと日本文化に深い興味があり、中学時代から外国語の授業は日本語を選択、大学でもアジア学を専攻。
• 2008年にJETプログラム（外国語青年招致事業）に応募して来日し、静岡県の高校と教育委員会などで8年間にわたり英語教師として活躍。
