  • Turtlemint is one of the fastest growing (valued at ~$950M) insurance distribution companies in India. With insurance penetration levels substantially lower in India as compared to the global standards, Turtlemint is trying to take insurance to the masses by demystifying insurance products for common people. It works with all major insurers in India and leverages tech to get the job done.
  • At Turtlemint, I had been a part of the business strategy team wherein I led the sales initiatives for all the insurance business verticals. As a part of this role, I solely took decisions on how to best utilize an annualized budget of ~20 Cr on sales initiatives to meet business expectations. This role presented a good mix of Analytics, Stakeholder Management, Team Management and Leadership. In terms of analytical tools, I actively used MS Excel, Tableau and basic SQL. The role also challenged me to take some really impactful business decisions early on in my career. Apart from this, I had been involved in some strategic projects with top brass of the company. I also had a few major problem statements with end-to-end ownership, which entailed understanding the problem, analyzing data, strategizing and coordinating across functions for implementing solutions.
