• Led Promise Ecosystem - Owns systems that compute delivery date and handle inventory and other types of reservations at user path scale. It's a 35 member team.
• Built systems to make Promise Engine active-active in multiple data centers.

• Worked on Promise Engine, a large-scale system (ranges to hundreds of thousands/millions of requests/sec) that provides customer promises, availability & serviceability for all the listings. This system powers Browse, Search, product pages and cart & checkout flows.
• My major contributions are around leading several business-critical projects and scaling the system.

Jan 2017 – Jun 2018 · 1 yr 5 mos

• Built Flux, an event-driven and reactive system for building async workflows. It's open-sourced at https://github.com/flipkart-incubator/flux. Currently, it is handling a few millions of workflows per day in Flipkart, and being used in a few startups as well.
• Built Cluster Manager which would do automatic maintenance of stateless instances of a cluster. This was a step towards achieving auto scaling in the Flipkart cloud.
• Along with the above, I was also part of a few other initiatives of Platform services. Also, during this time transitioned to Promise engine, and scaled the system to support 6X qps on the same hardware.

• ISE is a security policy management and control platform which provides AAA services in the distributed environments. Worked on Policy Services, Clustering, Infra, and Monitoring and Logging components.
• The team was scattered across San jose, Israel and India. Here I got an opportunity to work with highly complex distributed systems and global teams.
