  • Identified existing standards that the products and the units comply with and designed a standard operating procedure for the units as well as the consortium, keeping in mind all the standards in the varied sectors of food safety, hygiene & sanitation, production and upscaling of the existing business.
  • Learnt about the production protocols at medium-scale or large-scale industries and the Standard Operating Procedure of Nutrimix Units.
  • Prepared a proposal that covered the marketing aspects, a 3-tier complaint structure, institutional framework, monitoring program, training and awareness besides the SOP.

  • My role involved the following -
  • 1) A complete study was done of Salauj Village under the Ladyura Gram Panchayat of Takula block in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, India.
  • The Village Study was based on nine factors viz., demography, infrastructure (social & physical), livelihood, culture, market, governance, and migration. (Used various methodologies like different sampling methods, secondary data, focused group discussion, attending village SHG meeting, survey data, and then analyzed the data on the above parameter.)
  • 2) Prepared the water budget by finding out and analyzing the water demand and consumption patterns of all the households according to summer, monsoon, and winter season.
  • 3) Ascertained the water gap by comparing estimated-water supply with water demand of the village and identified the existing challenges associated with water scarcity and to came up with possible solutions to address the existential issues.
  • 4) Prepared a case study on the fading water sources of the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand.
