Manu is an MBA in Marketing and Operations from MDI, Gurgaon and an engineering graduate from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (University of Delhi) with more than 15 years of business development, P&L management, and product/ category management experience. Currently, he is leading the P&L for 2 businesses at MobiKwik - Organized offline payments business & the IOT devices (Soundbox & EDC) business. He was part of the IPO journey of MobiKwik. For the organized business, he is looking after the brand alliance, account management & client servicing. For the devices, he is responsible for conceptualizing the solutioning of the devices business – problem identification, hypothesizing, MVP & scale up. Earlier he was associated with Paytm for almost 6 years. He was part of Paytm's journey from Demonetization till the successful IPO. He was building Paytm's payments ecosystem in the healthcare vertical owning the overall P&L - transactions, GMV, revenue, marketing expenses, etc. for the vertical. He drove the pan India team to acquire all major healthcare players of the country and ensure regular business from them. He was responsible for planning and budgeting marketing and branding activities like cashback, cashier incentives, social media marketing, etc. Additionally, he was responsible for driving allied revenue line items in the healthcare ecosystem. His previous assignment was with Housing.Com as the Area Sales Manager for Gurgaon, where he was solely responsible for building Housing.Com's business in Gurgaon generating revenue of ~INR 20 lakh/month. He has also worked with Tata Motors Limited as a Territory Sales Manager for Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles looking after south Gujarat (3rd largest market of west India) through 3 dealerships. The network generates revenues in excess of INR 30 Cr/Month while ensuring dealer profitability. He was also the single point of contact of Tata Motors for dealing with Siddhi Vinayak Logistics Limited (India’s largest logistics company) Prior to this, he was deputed to Morocco to develop a market entry strategy for Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles in the country. He was the first person from the passenger vehicle division to be sent to the country for the same. He had worked with Accenture Services for 2 years prior to pursuing his MBA.
