  • I work with Damballa's Failsafe product line, which provides active network security in the 'APT' space. Unlike many of my past positions I spend a lot of time with customers helping them understand the 'new face' of malware: it's not solely about prevention anymore -- you're already infected. Just like our immune systems rapidly dispense with invading organisms, Failsafe quickly finds and shuts-down infected assets as they send data off to criminal organizations. The product is so easy to set-up that I spend the majority of my time on the actual malware and remediation. It's actually the most fun I've ever had at work :)
