• Cisco Crosswork Network Automation suite of products, which is Cisco's Cloud Offering for Service Providers for a closed loop network automation and Evolved Programmable Network Manager (EPNM)
• Few of the contributions/responsibilities listed below:
• 1. Involved in Architecture discussion on NextGen Cisco Product development built on microservice architecture.
• 2. Developed a new micro-service to collect and persist the data. This service collects the data from the EPNM Collector which is a Network Gateway, this service is also responsible to retrieve the data and expose a REST API for other services to collect network statistics. Performance analysis was done between MongoDB and Cassandra to evaluate the best suited according to requirement.
• 3. Involved in Deployment and operations of these micro-services, worked with Kubernetes(k8s) Orchestration and Docker containers.
• 4. Worked majorly on Fault Management, ranging from adding support to newer faults (SNMP Traps and syslog), debugging customer issues.
• 5. Developed/Enhanced newer features such as Service Impacting Alarms(SIA) which shows the services (L2,L3 Services) impacted due to received alarms, Auto Correlation/clearance where alarms are automatically correlated/cleared based on the newer alarms like parent-child alarms or open-close alarms.
