Indrajit is responsible for the Global Service Delivery of Network Management in Business Unit Digital Services in Ericsson. He is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and growth of this unit. His team spans across India, China and Mexico. Indrajit & his team of experts support Ericsson customers to transform their network and implement the virtualization, cloud native & distributed cloud journey. Prior to this Indrajit was leading Global Service Delivery of Cloud and Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure. He was a member of the Digital Services 5G program and was responsible for Service Readiness. Worked with 5G drivers from all Market Areas and Solution Areas in Business Unit Digital Services. Scope includes Network functions from Packet Core & Communication Services, Virtualized and/or containerized on bare metal Cloud Infrastructure, Management functions from OSS & BSS. Ensure readiness in terms of Competence, Assets, Automation and Serviceability. He graduated with accolade in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology - Kharagpur, India in 1992. He joined Ericsson in 2011. Before Ericsson, he had successful career in Tech Mahindra, UshaComm and Essar. He has managed line reporting from India, China, USA and UK during his career. He has diverse telecom experience. For 15+ years he has worked in BSS, OSS product development, system integration and ADM in TechMahindra and UshaComm. Joined Ericsson to establish CSI practices across OSS, BSS, TV & Multimedia in Ericsson Global Services India. Subsequently shifted to IP, Core & Cloud domains. Familiar with EToM, NGOSS, OPNFV, OpenStack & other industry forums. He brings 25+ years of proven track record of - • Building, growing and leading large ICT organization with Profit / Loss responsibility • Right shoring and value creation through innovations & industrialization • Successful & profitable deliveries with customer satisfaction • Driving priority initiatives across organizational units • Leading multicounty, multicultural large team Indrajit is also Ericsson India Global Services Location Head for Kolkata and provide administrative leadership to ~2500 people in the centre. He champions Ericsson’s industry-academia collaboration with various Universities. He represents Ericsson in the IT Committee of Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I). He participates as speaker in different key industry events in India and in engineering colleges.
