Currently, I'm in the Financing Specialist Rotation Program with RBC Commercial Financial Services, handling credit & financial analysis working alongside Indigenous Governments & Diverse mid-size Corporations. JLL Canada recognized my passion for numbers & commercial real estate, & gave me an opportunity to intern with their Capital Markets team, where I learned valuation modeling & investment strategies in CRE (2023). Before completing an MBA in Finance, I committed 5 years of my life to construction & real estate, managing the design, distribution, marketing & sales of project solutions for commercial buildings (2018-22). ✓ My strong interest in trading has always motivated me to invest in financial markets & relevant skills, & eventually grow my investment in both. ✓ While working at JLL, I learned MLAs (market leasing assumptions) used in underwriting, market research, analysis of financial statements, discounting cash flows from operating income for valuation purposes, highest & best use analysis, & calculation of other valuation parameters & ratios - levered & unlevered IRR, cash on cash/return on equity, leased fee & leasehold interest, and annual rent equivalents. I summarized these numbers into valuation commentary & helped prepare brochures, proposals, BOV (broker opinion of value) & pitch decks. ✓ While working with the French MNC & the world's largest building materials manufacturer - Saint-Gobain, a strong creative drive helped me pioneer sales strategy for my team & sell high-value-added building solutions to my clients. I managed strategic national key accounts that included medium & small businesses - architects, energy consultants, facade contractors & builders in public & private sector. I extracted raw data from Salesforce & CRM, & generated analysis & trends for the management, & was responsible for carrying out engagement initiatives with our partners.
