• In collaboration with Coimbatore Innovation and Business Incubator - Forge for a product development where my team and I had successfully developed a product and allied business model for solving menstrual hygiene problem in government schools.
• The approach to Innovative Product Development.
• 1. Preliminary contextual study in the college campus, a tech park, local people and desk research.
• 2. Deep Primary user and customer study in around Coimbatore to make User discovery, User validation, Developing a context and Use case.
• 3. Desk research on market, competitor's business model, competitive products, technological feasibility, business strategies.
• 4. Designing a viable innovation strategy for each user group by creating Value proposition, Innovation metrics.
• 5. Developing an allied Business Model, developing Business and Product Pitch to make the project fully funded by Research cell of Kumaraguru College of Technology and Forge Accelerator - Innovation and Business Incubation center.
• 6. Prototyping and product development by building deployable/usable model, selecting and applying technology to create cost effective solutions, handling tools and techniques of managing the process of innovation to mitigate and reduce risks.

• Innovation/Startup fellowship program is a 20-week, full-semester course called ProtoSem along with product launch pad program for 6 months and business incubation for startup during which students are guided to develop core technical concepts and key engineering skills and are transformed into 'Innovation Engineers'.
• In Product launch pad I work as a team with students from different engineering/technical/science streams, towards designing, developing and testing an innovative tech enabled solution to solve a real-world problem (the Minimum Usable Prototype to test the technical feasibility and the commercial viability of the product innovation) sponsored by the industry, government, or social sector etc.
• As Graduate Innovation Engineers with a prototype to be launched as a product was incubated in forge accelerator to get the product to market.
• This experience made me a creative problem-solvers, capable of building deployable/usable prototypes, selecting and applying technology to create cost effective solutions, and aware of the tools and techniques of managing the process of innovation to mitigate and reduce risks. I innovated and designed solutions by setting and achieving metrics in customer development & discovery, value-proposition validation, market definition & sizing, customer acquisition, revenue model & competition analysis.
