  • Currently with one of Europe's leading Microsoft specialist recruitment agencies.
  • Working directly with the owner who is a member of RICS and has experience working as a quantity surveyor for JLL.
  • Sourcing CVs on job boards, searching for candidates via LinkedIn, writing and posting adverts.
  • Cold-calling candidates, explaining the role to them, arranging meetings and interviews.
  • Personally conducting interviews and assessment days for candidates looking to work for Mortimer Bell International on a permanent basis.
  • Extremely challenging and rewarding internship helping me build my research, phone, and sales skills.
  • I have been very successful in this role so far. On my third day I sourced a high-end candidate for the role of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Lead who reached the final stage interview with a large Microsoft Partner.
  • In addition to this I have personally sourced and spoken to several candidates, many of whom I have put forward for roles with different clients.
  • Two of the candidates I put forward have now been placed, both with Microsoft Gold Partners.
  • One on a salary of £65,000, the other on a salary of £80,000.
  • I have only been with Mortimer Bell International for a few weeks and in that time I have helped the company earn roughly £23,000.
  • Such has been the success of my internship thus far that the owner has tried to convince me to stay in a permanent role, offering me a higher salary and a more senior role than he usually offers.

  • I was fortunate to gain experience with a specialist real estate partnership comprising of two experts in the industry. I worked mainly with one of the directors who specialises in investment and development across the major commercial property sectors which include business space, retail, and leisure.
  • My calculations for revenues and costs for different building scenarios of a redevelopment scheme for one of Cambridge’s colleges were used in a meeting with quantity surveyors and land planners.
  • Similarly a spreadsheet I compiled containing descriptions of tenure, characteristics, location, and prices of major commercial sites in Cambridge was examined and analysed in a separate meeting with Cambridgeshire County Council.
  • My responsibilities included: analysing data in preparation for meetings, discussing the implications of my data results with the director before the meeting, and also attending meetings.
  • I am suited to having high levels of responsibility because I am very thorough in my data analysis and my results are reliable.
