• Developed low power FPGA base platform (low SWaP-C –Size, Weight, Power, Cost) for a wide range of imaging products compatible with multiple sensors and display interfaces (capable of processing 120FPS VGA video) used in defense and industrial applications.
• Architected, designed and implemented cooled thermal camera video processing pipeline on FPGA-SoC (Altera Cyclone V) based subsystem, which have been used in multiple flagship products of the company (COEL).
• Designed, implemented and verified thermal video processing algorithms (NUC, AGC, Color Palette, etc.) and display protocols.
• Integration and modification of MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI controller IP for sensor and display of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon thermal camera platform (Knight)
• Performance modeling and analysis of Imaging systems using quantitative formal modeling and worst-case analysis to design and architect vision processing IPs to minimize latency and better utilize system resources in FPGA
