• As BU Head, I was tasked with building the ‘National Procurement Grid’ handling sourcing, processing and delivery of onion, potato and fruits to 7 cities across India. Additionally, I oversaw the design of ‘multiple source to multiple warehouse’ operations & product road map, and its integration with ninjacart’s city ops.
• Designed and successfully deployed long haul onion & potato shipping processes reducing supply chain losses from 15% to 4% (contributing additional INR 26 mn on a monthly basis).

• As CEO, I oversaw the milk procurement & processing operations in Jammu & Kashmir including raw milk handling, product manufacturing and launch of ‘fresh’ product vertical (Poly Pouch milk, Fresh Yogurt & Buttermilk) in Jammu city. Additionally, I was Project lead and advisor to the state govt. on all dairy development matters, and spearheaded multiple dairy based livelihood generation & poverty alleviation activities under the Ministries of Rural Development, Tribal Development and Animal Husbandry.
• Managed to secure funding of INR 400 mn from DADF (Ministry of Agriculture, GOI) for automation of first-mile milk ops, rolling cold chain infrastructure and modernisation of processing units.
• Responsible for driving growth of the project’s annual turnover from INR 164.2 mn (FY 13-14) to INR 500 mn (FY 17-18).
• Secured defence supply contracts in Kashmir valley through liaising with Army HQs and Ministry of Co-op Development which provided an additional market of INR 1100 mn to Amul stabilising its operations as retail market in valley is prone to frequent disruptions.
• Supervised processing and distribution of milk packets as part of the relief operations during Sept’14 Kashmir valley floods alongside district administration and Indian Air force.

• As Brand Manager, I had the responsibility of managing entire supply chain of Amul Cheese including production planning, logistics, inventory management, promotional activities and launch of new variants.
• Additionally, I was also a member of the PCM team which handles the quarterly production planning including high level review of domestic and global raw milk scenario.

• As a Management intern, we analysed Producer Companies (registered under Part X1 A of Companies Act, 1956) on parameters such as business model, organisational design, financial health and market linkages etc.
• Certain key issues faced by these companies were highlighted by the research such as lack of institutional support for investment and working capital financing, dearth of professional management etc. Project report is currently being utilised as a guide by the Institution building division of Reliance Bij in its activities related to promotion of PCs across India.
