I’m Ulrich – The German Engineer. My background is rooted in industrial electronics and electrical engineering. I started hands-on in industry as an industrial electronics technician, studied electrical engineering with a focus on measurement and control technology, and spent many years in development, project engineering, and technical sales. I come from engineering reality – not marketing theory. Over the past decades, I have worked across industrial automation, robotics, and motion control: PLC systems, control architectures, servo drives, frequency inverters, electric motors, motion systems, collaborative robots, delta robots, mobile robots (AMRs), and industrial electronics. I have developed hardware, designed and tested PCBs, built measurement systems, commissioned automation solutions, and supported real customers in manufacturing, intralogistics, and industrial production. This background allows me to understand technology as engineers design it, as integrators deploy it, and as customers actually use it under real-world constraints such as uptime, safety, maintainability, scalability, and ROI.
