Amber Grewal — CEO
As a Talent and Human Resources leader, I’m privileged to work in an industry I love, using innovation to unlock human potential. With over 20 years of experience, I transform global talent programs to maximize how organizations attract, recruit, develop and retain talent. As Chief Talent Officer at BCG, I’m responsible for advancing the talent strategy, shaping our future workforce, and amplifying the impact of our global function. Three things that matter most to me as a leader: Championing innovation through the ethical use of AI Connecting emotionally with our teams and supporting them to learn, grow and thrive A sense of purpose and being part of an organization that is advancing positive change in the world Prior to joining BCG, I served as the Chief Talent Officer at Intel, where I was responsible for their end-to-end talent strategy and management. My role involved enabling people’s capabilities to build a smarter and more connected world that runs on Intel solutions. Before that, I held the position of Corporate VP of Global Talent Acquisition at IBM, where I led one of the largest TA functions in the world across 170 countries. I accelerated the reinvention of the company's talent function and infused artificial intelligence and prediction into all aspects of recruiting. As a mother of two daughters, I strongly believe in supporting the next generation to develop the skills they will need for the future. I spend time mentoring young women and championing equity in the workplace. Additionally, I advocate for improvements in the education system to help bridge the gap between the skills students learn in school and the skills companies need. To support this, I’m involved with organizations such as Fairygodboss and Girls Who Code. My expertise encompasses a wide range of areas within human capital, including creating next-generation operating models, upskilling talent, developing AI-driven products, driving outcomes with Agile, transforming global talent functions, crafting leadership programs, DEI and executive coaching. I leverage and have contributed my expertise to serve as board member and advisor B-Capital, IoT Consortium, the NOVA Workforce Board, and Eightfold A.I., playing pivotal leadership roles in shaping the direction and success of these diverse entities.
