Everyone wants to go home at night knowing they’ve made a difference. I help Lean-Agile change agents build the knowledge of what’s possible, the insight to shape the attainable, the curiosity to discover the unexpected, and the engagement to generate momentum. I discovered lean and agile during my twenty years as a developer and architect. The most important lesson it taught me was that I had more impact working with people than working with code, so I transitioned to coaching. My scaled agility journey began in 2011, and it inspired endless learning as I evolved from mastering team agility to supporting executives and senior leaders as they mastered enterprise agility. Over the years, I've taught hundreds of courses, coached every role in the agile ecosystem, and coached many amazing leaders. The path from team agility to enterprise agility has taken me deep into the worlds of Lean, Product Management, Portfolio Management, and Business Strategy. Throughout, I've never lost sight of my belief that you know good agile when you see a successful business with happy employees. To achieve good, sustainable agile, the core knowledge and skills must be in the hands of the leaders and team members, not the consultants - and that's my mission!
