A business professional with over 30 years experience in the corporate world with a large part in the technology services/training sector. After post graduating in Business Management from IRMA, my experience started with developing rural producer’s cooperatives across India on the successful Anand Pattern and working with the father of the white revolution in India, Dr Verghese Kurien , as his Executive Assistant. This is where I got the opportunity to interact with some of the greatest leaders across politics, industry and rural India. These years shaped my life’s philosophy and the deep belief in the empowerment and leadership of people. My quest to be a part of the technology driven India brought me to NIIT. During the 18 years at NIIT, headed career education business, the Education-Industry collaboration for IT professionals , managed software services business for NIIT UK, Europe and Middle east and finally the fast growing govt school education segment in order to bring technology based education to the teachers and students in some of the most backward parts of India. During my 5 year period at NIIT Europe(including UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and the Middle east), the top management sought me out to recreate the unique culture of NIIT in these countries and their respective HR policies embedded in this culture. Was chosen to be a Member of NIIT Chairman’s Path Finders Squadron,( the topmost honor in the organization) in 2000-2001. Guiding people and watching their transformation into successful leaders excites me as much as consultative solution based engagements.Gender equality at workplace and coaching potential women leaders to grow within organizations is a personal commitment. As an executive coach and a leadership and OD consultant, I get the opportunity as well as the platform to do both . Have been invited by a no of leading organisations to be part of their ICC under Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace.
