• Initially worked on a donations api to provide an integration with the Pennies charity api. I created a microservice to handle the communication with Pennies, this was developed using .net core 2.2 and Web Api. Also integrated the api with the existing basket application using angular js and react. Continued to work on the basket and checkout applications developing additional functionality, such as upgrading sofashield (sofology warranty).

• Designed and developed web api to handle incoming requests from smart meters. The api processes the requests and updates Futura Crm. Web api is built using TDD with the following technologies, C# .net core Web Api, utilizing Swagger, Dapper ORM, Dependency Injection through Service Collection. Also uses NUnit, Fluent Assertions and Moq to aid in a test first TDD approach. Helped lay foundations for working in agile and helped with way to breakout from the current monolithic application into Micro services.

• Working on a project to replace the existing process for sending emails manually at various statuses of a new customer being on boarded.
• The application was designed to send both automated and real time emails from various systems within the danbro network.
• I decided to build the solution using Asp.Net Web Api running as an internal service. I utilised swagger, Simple Injector, Serilog, Dapper to connect to Sql Server.

• Initially brought into a team of six to migrate Manchester City FC shop to use OpenId Connect Authentication services. The role involved the switch out of the existing login, logout and register functionality and replace with an external Identity Server.
• I was then extended for a further 3 months to work in Fanatics multi warehouse team. The project was around developing a stock routing web api. This was greenfield work and was developed using AspNet core 2.1. The api is used to handle stock routing support and provide functions such as fastest lead times for a given product based on location.

• Involved in the development of a management solution to bring together a suite of applications. The application is based around a dashboard approach allowing users the ability to add and remove gadgets, providing a single page where they can monitor and manage their day to day activities
• The application has been developed using Angular 2 - 5 and Typescript, connecting to a Restful API service, built using ASP.Net web api. Unit Testing is managed using karma and jasmine. We also built out several node based packages that can be imported into the main application. These include domain, services and application layers.
• Lastly I worked on the development of a SDK to allow future developers the ability to create and import new gadgets into the dashboard.

• Direct Contract to lead the development of JobsGroup.nets 9 niche job boards including www.justengineers.net winner of Best Job Board – Recruiter Awards for excellence 2009. During my time here I have improved their management of the project by introducing an agile approach and improved on the source code management. The sites front end has been developed using ASP.Net and C#. A middle layer was also introduced and now contains a domain layer, data layer and framework layer. The backend database is SQL Server 2005 using stored procedures to handle all data.

During my short time here I worked on a couple of projects, one being the Query Engine project. All development follows an Agile methodology based around Extreme programming, with 2 week iterations to deliver to the business.

All applications were developed using .net 2.0 and utilise a object oriented n-tier design with custom data objects, SQL server 2000 or 2005 have been used as the back end.

• This role was a contract position to develop the ViaVillas website, the websites purpose is to provide owners of villas all over the world with a solution to advertise and manage their properties on-line.
