I didn’t plan to build a career in thought leadership. It started with a few pieces of content, turned into a series of collaborations with my CEO, and somewhere along the way, it became a full-time practice. Today, I lead the thought leadership charter at a MarTech and Generative AI services firm. I work closely with my CEO, senior leaders, and subject matter experts to shape how our ideas and expertise show up in the world. Some days, that means pressure-testing a big idea and building a content strategy around it. Other days, it’s about finding the thread that connects a service, a story, and a shift in the industry. What sets my work apart? I listen. I observe. I ask questions that get to the heart of things. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, writing, and counsel. I also bring 20+ years of experience across diplomacy, leadership enablement, operations, and communication - roles that have shaped how I think about voice, influence, and visibility. As Lead – Thought Leadership, I work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to shape the company’s voice and visibility. I oversee LinkedIn calendars, ghostwrite for the CEO, develop keynote decks, and act as a sounding board for broader ideas, including leadership, change, and strategy. I also drive our thought leadership platform, guiding internal experts to share their insights through articles and features.
All internal content, across formats like website copy, emailers, landing pages, and event collaterals, is either written or reviewed by me to ensure consistency and clarity. I actively seek out opportunities to increase brand visibility through publishing platforms, expert quotes, and speaking engagements. When I joined, building our leadership voice was still a work in progress. Today, we’re invited to panels and keynotes because of the visibility we’ve built. I also attend events alongside our leadership team. Networking isn't my strong suit, but I’m learning, one awkward conversation at a time.
