• Managed a caseload of young people aged eleven to nineteen and families within the Early Help Team within Shropshire Council, which aimed to prevent young people being placed into the care system whilst dealing with a range of complex issues they may have or experiencing under the Strengthening Families Government Agenda.
• These issues and work completed with young people and families included topics around CSE, Sexual Health, County Lines , Parenting, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Substance Misuse, Exclusion from mainstream education, lack of positive role models, Behavioural, ASB, Mental Health Issues and MISPER forms and return home interviews aswell as setting up diversionary and positive activities when time allowed.
• During this time I also supported the Shropshire Care Council ensuring young people had a voice within the system in their weekly meetings and facilitated meeting with corporate parents (locally elected MP'S) who they could voice their concerns to and change the system so it met their needs.

• I have run and managed various youth projects in different communities within Shrewsbury, managed and supervised a small staff team which included an admin assistant. Delivered group work sessions to young people aged 11-19 on sports, arts, qualifications such as first aid, trips to do activities and helped groups of young people apply for money for activities and equipment for their local youth group. I have also worked closely with secondary schools , mentoring young people, delivering drop in CHAT sessions and supporting the pastoral teams.

• I was recruited to deliver educational talks and interactive group work sessions to young people and adults in schools, colleges and youth and community groups . I also shadowed and assisted young people in making educational films around drugs and alcohol that were relevant to them and their peer groups at the time. This role involved me travelling all over Shropshire and using my initiative to deliver talks in some challenging spaces and areas where it had been identified that there were issues around substances and alcohol.

• I manage and perform in a professional Event band that has performed across the UK and abroad at various private events and corporate functions. I mange the individuals within the band, deal with all the customer enquiries, delicate roles and work to individuals within the band and manage all aspects of the bookings. I deal with lots of customers and venues and ensure it is run to a very high professional standard. Starting in 2006 and continuing today I have many years of experience performing with lots of musicians and venues. I am able to use my own initiative, deal with sometimes difficult customers politely, and market the band continuously so it remains current and in demand within the current entertainment industry.

• I worked with young people aged 16-19 delivering the life skills/E2E project ran by the YMCA at the East Street and Aylestone sites . I planned and delivered sessions to groups of vulnerable adolescents experiencing homelessness, estrangement from family and learning difficulties. For some it was a second chance at education. My role included completing the necessary E2E paperwork necessary to access the funding to support the programme. During this post I was nominated by the young people I had taught and won an award for 'Making a difference' delivering the E2E programme. I was also part of a staff team that took a group of young people to Prague to a festival to celebrate the YMCA's work, some of these young people had never been out of Leicester before.
