Eve's main focus is improving people's lives through helping them sleep better, but also completely changing the way mattresses, and by now, more bedding products are bought. Instead of a retail stores and wide variety, the business offers only two type of mattresses, spring and foam. For the rest of their products there is only one version in different sizes. Additionally, Eve relies almost entirely on online orders.
  • It was my responsibility to help eve develop its business during a time of rapid scaling. My role as a Business Development Manager was to help the company run smoother internally, but also to help grow the business through different channels and to different customers, especially on a B2B level. During my time I gathered very valuable experience from Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics and Product Development.

  • As a media executive, it was my responsibility to manage, plan and execute marketing campaigns for multiple clients, which ranged from Czech SMEs to large international corporations. Facebook campaigns were my main responsibility as I was managing the vast majority of all agency's campaigns running on the platform. Despite being the Facebook expert in the agency, I was allowed to join the Google Partner's training and received both Google Adwords and Analytics Certificates. Additionally, it was great to learn from our designers, web developers, campaign planners and many more to extend my understanding of digital marketing as a whole.

  • Borusan Otomotive is the only licensed importer of BMW, MINI and Land Rover cars into Turkey, operating in a highly competitive and regulated market. The marketing department, where I interned, was very dynamic, organising many events, such as golf tournaments, showroom openings or popular events celebrities, nonetheless there seemed to be a slight lack of strategy for online marketing channels.
  • My responsibility initially was to support the marketing team and review their plans for events and introduction strategies for new car models, at that time renewed BMW X3, X4 and the electric series of i3 and i8. After completing the tasks, I managed to convince the team that the company needed to review the potential of digital marketing channels, conducted a research across various markets BMW, MINI and Land Rover operated in, and proposed a digital marketing strategy which I found to be suitable for the market. My aim was to introduce the new models, , through the internet by using technological solutions, such as interactive Youtube walk-throughs and Q&As, but also pop-culture carpooling with celebrities and having them to compete in various challenges.

  • My main project was to develop content for the relatively new social network Google+ in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Hence I had to do thorough research within the markets to create a list of targets in News, Sport and Entertainment segments in order to contact them and convince them to use G+ as one of their channels. After establishing contact with many companies and individuals, either they joined the platform or Jan and I moved to negotiating terms of the partnership. This effort resulted in numerous new profiles on the platform, which have reached hundreds of thousands of followers.
  • Secondly, I was conducting analysis of traffic and use of competing music and video streaming services in the market. It was my responsibility to gather data about our competitions and process it into a comprehensive reports which would be used as a starting point for further marketing efforts.
  • Lastly, I aided the marketing team in their activity at music festivals in summer 2012 and 2013. In 2012 there was a Google Truck campaign going around the festivals, which needed organisational support, and in 2013 I provided content and technical support to our team which was streaming interviews on Youtube Live.
