• At the journeyman level, my responsibilities were to roll up my sleeves in full support of mission critical building engineering efforts, performing routine preventative maintenance, NFPA70E & OSHA operational experience, troubleshooting, and maintenance of power distribution, and repair of all building equipment. Experience in troubleshooting, testing, calibration, repair and install instruments, transmitters, recorders, indicators, controllers, meters, impulse lines, cable, computers, DCS System, CEMS and any device associated with instrumentation control. Provide consultation, education, and assistance to constituents on Plant Ops/MEP systems. Working within a critical engineering team to provide the necessary expertise, and drive to deliver a professional high-quality service, not excluding delivery of Data Center services to our clients, In charge of work scheduling, vendor resources, materials ordering, safety, training, and review of staff performance. Experienced in PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and/or safety equipment SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus), H2S detectors, slicker or TYVEK suits and gloves. Perform, operate, maintain, and repaired utility plant equipment; reciprocating, centrifugal, and absorption central air conditioning machinery including, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, pumps, etc. Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend system upgrades. Provide facilities project management services of the critical environments, hardware installations, cabling, and management of the facilities within and surrounding the Data Center, including vendors and managing third parties. Team player in achieving 2012 BOMA Building of the Year renovation consisting of over one million Sq. feet. Initiated Wi-Fi; Building Automation, Card Access, domestic water pumping, storage systems VSDs, and control upgrade projects from cradle to grave.
