• As a lead Mechanical engineer the main tasks conducted (but not limited to):
• 1) Lead projects as MJE (Mechanical Job Engineer) to Support client, PM, vendors, procurement, EPC, workshops etc. on technical design matters. Have been mechanical lead for Chinese, Indian, European, south African and Latin American customers/EPCs.
• 2) to design various mechanical equipment for WSA plants to cope with the client's requirement.
• Other tasks conducted (but not limited to) to design the WSA plants are:
• Designing various equipment such as Heat exchangers, Pressure vessels, Waste heat boilers, steam drum, KO drums, reactors etc.
• Preparing and checking Mechanical equipment and duct drawings with help of AUTOCAD designers
• Checking plant layout and equipment layout drawings with help of AutoCAD Plant 3D modelling engineers.
• Preparing and checking piping, ducting specifications for the plant.
• Co-ordinating with Process department and reviewing of piping and instrument diagrams (PIDs) and Material Selection diagrams (MSDs).
• Participating in project meetings with the client/EPC/Vendors.
• RFB preparation to support hardware procurement.
• Assist client and EPC by design reviews and solving technical queries.
• Inspection assistance at vendor workshops.
• Remote site supervision and remote inspections.
• Involved in technical service of WSA plant at UK during shutdown maintenance.
• 3) To develop company standards and participate in various VPM, Kaizen meetings in close co-ordination with Global team and head office Denmark.
• 4) Cost/time saving by innovative ideas and inventor template developments.
• 5) Mentoring experienced / trainee engineers for on boarding and being continuous guide.
