I started my career as a Business Account Manager in Hewlett Packard. With no information technology background, I learnt the ropes of IT during the first 4 years of my career. I enjoyed the fast pace, ever-changing industry and especially enjoyed interacting and meeting like-minded people. After 7 years in the IT industry, having to work for HP (Hardware), Datacraft (Professional Services) and SAS (Software), I wanted to do something more personable. At that time, my wish was to continue to leverage my IT's industry knowledge and meet more people. Hence, I found myself a perfect job, i.e. to be a Headhunter in the IT Industry. I then did a career switch and joined Hudson as a Consultant in the IT vendor space. I've spent 5 solid years in recruitment and am passionate in helping companies to find the best talent for their organisation and helping candidates to find their dream jobs. I enjoyed every minute of my life as a Recruiter. My passion of helping individuals in their career did not stop there. I decided that it is time for me to help people on a massive scale and the only way to do that is over social media and there is no other professional networking platform like LinkedIn. With my technology sales and recrutiment experience, I joined LinkedIn to continue my passion. It was an incredible experience to be part of LinkedIn when they first started out in South East Asia. LinkedIn has disrupted the way companies recruit and candidates finding their next career opportunity. Since young I knew that I would like to be an Entreprenuer one day. After 14 years of corporate life, I finally decided to take the plunge and leave an awesome (LinkedIn) company and started my business venture (Kreme Consulting). Our vision is to help companies to revoluntionize the traditional recruitment method - from transactional hiring to using data to hire intelligently by leveraging social recruitment.
