About

I like solving hard challenges in the work of teams. Something magical happens when people work together to solve something. I geek out about research and great UX. When I hear that something is "already solved/ too crowded/ too big players/ no chance" my mind starts racing. I look for fundamental problems that are unsolved and I make contrarian bets. I spent my 20s building a company that I wanted to outlast me — Swipes, the happiest place to work. We built an award-winning task manager; reached the hearts and minds of 1mio users (B2C); a great company culture. We then pivoted to team collaboration (B2B) to tackle the hard challenge of too much friction between the systems of records - tasks, files, and chat. We made 13 product iterations but didn't hit it right. We built it from Silicon Valley with the backing of advisors and investors from Google, Box, Facebook, Slack, Salesforce, Airbnb & Microsoft... We took all our hard-earned learnings and applied them to a new big problem we unraveled - Wikis suck. Nobody updates them. Nobody reads them. In the age of AI, for the first time ever, we have a technology that can capture, organize, and assist humans with the knowledge they need to do their best work. This fall 2023, we were accepted in Techstars. ## Our vision is to accelerate the collaboration between AI and humans at work to solve complex problems. We imagine the AI era of work will require: - More collaboration between humans and AI - More remote and async work - More transactional and per-project relationships To make this feasible, companies need a database of high-quality information that employees, contractors, and AI agents can access in order to learn, get up-to-date answers, and take action on their work. We're building the infrastructure for that. We are creating a database of clean and curated company information that is optimized for the use of LLMs.

  • You know how support teams waste time digging through Slack and docs to find answers, often repeating the same questions? And you might use a wiki and docs to keep info accessible, but it’s tough to manage and things still go out of date.
  • With Question Base, you can capture and organize knowledge directly in Slack, so your team gets instant, accurate answers right where they work—no more hunting or duplicating efforts.
  • We are turning all our learnings from Swipes into a new moonshot.

  • Helping in the organization of the event Startup Weekend Aarhus.
  • Participating in two Startup Weekends as a team leader of two ideas:
  • ugift.me
  • Wee Agree
  • The intense work in 54 hours with a team of people whom I just met and who believed in my ideas has been a very challenging but truly amazing learning experience. You just need to embrace yourself and step up as leader, forget tiredness and be present 100%. Startup Weekend is for the hard-core doers!
  • I do appreciate Startup Weekend so much that I am glad to devote working hours and help in setting up the event for others to experience it.

Venture cup

Event Organizer

Aug 2012Jan 2013 · 5 mos

  • Working for the biggest non-profit organization for entrepreneurship in Denmark has been a truly enriching experience! During those 6 months we actively helped students to develop their ideas and bring them into viable business plans.
  • The work consisted of:
  • creating concepts of events eg. workshops, branding events etc.
  • co-organizing events
  • co-organizing Startup Weekend Aarhus - managing communication with participants, the website and the social media profiles of the event
  • engaging in a dialog with students who have interest in entrepreneurship and offering them support through Venture Cup
  • representing Venture Cup at fairs, workshops, networking events etc.
  • reviewing business plans and helping students to improve their applications for Idea Competition
  • And various other great experiences which helped students to go ahead with their ideas!
  • The fact that 2 teams who created their ideas at a 3 hour idea generation workshop that we made for them, became 2 of the 20 finalists of Idea Competition chosen among 375 other project, speaks for itself. It makes the efforts of 6 month unpaid work worth more than all it could have been paid for!
  • Helping the young people to pursue their dreams is what I am 100% eager to continue doing one way or another. And Venture Cup has been a great starting point!
