In 2014, my company was on the brink of collapse. We were running out of time and options, so instead of giving up, we completely rethought our approach and moved our head office from Brisbane, Australia, to the Philippines. At first, we thought roles had to be entirely local or entirely offshore. Breaking free from that all-or-nothing mindset changed everything. When we reviewed each role, we saw that portions of many jobs, like 20% of one or 75% of another, could be done offshore. Combining those tasks allowed us to create efficient new roles in the Philippines. My family and I moved to the Philippines, started a company, opened an office, and hired 35 team members to manage the restructured tasks. What began as a survival plan became a model for a smarter and more profitable way to organize work. That experience became the foundation of PeoplePartners and the start of what we now call Workforce Re-Engineering. Today, we use that same approach to help leaders build stronger, more resilient businesses. We create systems that simplify leadership, strengthen culture, and help teams thrive onshore and offshore.
