I'm an elected member of the Sigma Xi Society and a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, London, UK. My research has been featured in Nature, Newsweek, US News and World Report, Forbes, Vogue, Bazaar, Beauty Crew, Hindustan Times, International Business Times, Bloomberg, and many other outlets in various languages worldwide. Beyond my research, I founded the Mitochondria Research and Medicine Societies in the US and India. I earned my undergraduate degree in India, a Ph.D. in Australia, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. I then joined Johns Hopkins as an Assistant Professor of Oncology before advancing to Professor and a Distinguished Professorship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY, and the Joy and Bill Harbert Endowed Chair at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA.
