In my twenty eight years in Banking I have started three retail banks in India for local, national and multinational players and was part of the top management team that started a greenfield private sector bank in India and have been the global head of business of Indian diaspora headquartered in Dubai and with offices in London, NYC, San Francisco, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Muscat Singapore and Hong Kong .I have consulted with banks in India and the Middle East as an Adviser to two of the big four consultants. I have very successfully been the ceo of Indias largest non profit “Pratham” as also the CEO of GiveIndia India’s first web based giving platform. I have interacted on a one to one basis with the leading lights of industry from India.. Over the last ten years been member of the boards of several non profits large and small and also member of the board of a bank owned finance company. Currently I chair the board of Educate girls a very large Non Profit that is putting two million out of school girls back to school. I also am on the board of NGOs in the health, youth, livelihoods, education, urban planning, democracy and NGO management space. I am a partner and mentor in a social incubator and have mentored hundreds of NGOs of all sizes ..
