  • As a TPM at Brain Corp, I was responsible for the overall planning, development, and delivery of complex software that is used to power the world's largest fleet of commercial autonomous floor cleaners.
  • I oversaw a major software upgrade that required 95% of software code base to be rewritten. This required many conversations with key stakeholders to ensure all the moving parts came together at the end. New requirements were developed, almost all legacy software was refactored, and new testing plans/techniques had to be developed. In the end, customers received the biggest software update to their autonomous floor cleaners in company history.
  • I orchestrated a major overhaul of the robot's safety components. New safety mandates required the team to develop new strategies for meeting regulatory requirements. I was essential in ensuring that safety overhaul did not interfere with overall software development of main software. I coordinated with product management and developed roadmaps and integration plans to ensure that all stakeholders understood the impact of implementing a new safety system. Managing dependencies, lab assets, and engineering capacity was key to successfully delivering an enhanced safety system that could not be delivered past established delivery date.
  • I was Instrumental in helping the company initiate a transition from AWS to GCP. I worked with all the cloud engineers to develop a plan for migration, performed discovery activities to determine what work needed to be done for successful migration, and coordinated all team members to execute on the plan. There were a lot of unknown unknowns which made this project challenging. Through my discovery methods, I was able to guide the team through a period of uncertainty and relentlessly worked to lead the team towards a migration strategy that would meet requirements and exceed legacy performance.

  • As the TPM for the Ground Segment Modernization Program (GSMP), I was responsible for overseeing a complete redesign of the Global Hawk Ground Station software system. This was the first update in over twenty years and every piece of the user interface was updated and had to integrate back with existing hardware. Relying on metrics to conduct data driven decisions, I helped turn around a program that was three years behind schedule. I introduced new processes for communication, exchange of technical information, and pushed for greater accountability to help the program get back on track.

  • As a DevOps engineer, I was responsible for helping autonomous programs adopt agile principles and tools. I served as a guide for many software teams that were transitioning from legacy software development styles and antiquated tools to modern continuous integration tools. I was also part of the team responsible for assuring that the on premise tools were available, up-to-date, and scalable for software teams. This included folding in new continuous integration tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and Jama. Additionally, I also had the responsibility of administrating and configuring Atlassian product tools such as Jira, Atlassian, and Bitbucket. I also conducted all the cybersecurity requirements for the tools by developing disaster recovery plans and updating systems to patch vulnerabilities.
