  • The Tamil Nadu Floods - Education Supplies (bit.ly/TNFES) is a citizens' initiative which aims to help students and schools in Tamil Nadu, India, that were badly affected in floods in December 2015.
  • In 100 days since inception, this platform has facilitated support for 45 schools and over 25,000 students across Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Cuddalore districts. We have donated notebooks, stationery and sports equipment, built and renovated toilets, painted buildings, provided safe drinking water supplies and kitchens. TNFES is also being sought by organizations and like minded groups to collaborate on some projects in schools. Our platform has helped facilitate getting people together to work with schools independently as well.
