Mr. Grewal most recently served as Managing Director(MD) of Kubota Agricultural Machinery India, the Indian subsidiary of Kubota Corporation (Japan), a global leader with an annual turnover exceeding 3 Trillion Yen. In this capacity, he provided strategic oversight for nationwide operations, governance processes, compliance standards, expansion programs, and organizational capability development. He previously served as Director and Board Member at Kubota India, where he participated in operational excellence, strategic planning, risk oversight, and performance governance. Over the course of his career, Mr. Grewal has held progressive senior leadership roles at Kubota India, TAFE (Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd.), and Escorts Ltd., where he was responsible for sales, dealer network development, market transformation programs, and major brand transitions. His expertise spans corporate governance, market expansion, operational transformation, talent development, and cross-cultural leadership, with a particular focus on India–Japan collaborations. He has completed multiple board and governance certifications, including the Director’s Programme in Corporate Governance from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and the Board Best Practices Programme from IIM Bangalore. He is also an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme at IIM Calcutta, as well as Leadership programs at ISB Hyderabad and the Global Leadership Program in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. Mr. Grewal is the author of book 'Leader as a Coach' and is a certified 'NLP Coach', reflecting his deep commitment to leadership development and building values-driven, high-performance organizations.
