I’m a placemaking designer, illustrator and cultural entrepreneur dedicated to transforming spaces into thriving, community-centric artistic zones. My work goes beyond mere aesthetics; I specialize in fusing ancient regional aesthetics and sensibilities with contemporary design to create unique cultural narratives within urban landscapes. I've spent over two decades in India developing this approach through my studio, Inkbrushnme, and the Pune Street Art Project, which has turned ordinary city walls into monumental public art and community hubs. My work on cinematic world-building and for luxury brands reflects a deep understanding of how to build a powerful and immersive identity Highlights of past two decades of work include : • Painted India’s largest mural and over a hundred large-scale public artworks. • Founded the Pune Street Art Project, bringing community-driven art into urban spaces. • Served as a concept artist for films and television, including collaborations with acclaimed filmmakers • Designed visual universes inspired by the Mahabharata, Ramayan, Vatsayan, Bodhidharma; crafted a luxury pop-up books, and developed communication design projects for brands like LinkinPark, Barclays, Mercedes, Harley-Davidson, etc. • Shared my practice globally at INK Talks, OZORA Festival (Hungary), and BOOM Festival (Portugal). Alongside practice, I mentor emerging artists and designers at leading institutions including IDC, IIT Bombay; MIT Pune; Srishti Bangalore; and CDS Indore, nurturing the next generation of cultural innovators. My vision is simple yet expansive: to transform spaces, minds, and cultures through art. Whether on walls, pages, or screens, I see art as a force that connects, elevates, and awakens.
