I’m Kunal Arora, Co-founder of rego, where we’re building the future of automotive sustainability through SMART Repair technology and circular mobility practices. At rego, we’re redefining automotive aftercare by building a SMART Repair and Refurbishment ecosystem that focuses on repairing over replacing. Our technology refurbishes alloy wheels, headlights, and exterior plastics — saving costs for insurers, reducing waste, and cutting CO₂ emissions. Today, rego operates across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, refurbishing 500+ components monthly, and aims to cross 1,200+ monthly by July 2026. I’m deeply passionate about: • Sustainable automotive ecosystems • Circular economy in mobility • Growth strategy & operational excellence • Building scalable, purpose-driven startups I have previously worked with PRISM’s(fka OYO) Central Demand Team, working directly under Ritesh Agarwal. During my time there, I witnessed Prism’s explosive growth from 10 to 200 cities and 3 countries, helping scale initiatives like college barter deals, offline demand expansion, and even leading Prism’s first international expansion in Malaysia. Later, I built Prism's food backend and scaled it to $3M ARR. My next chapter was GoMechanic, where I joined as the 14th employee and took a 50% pay cut to pursue my passion for automotive tech. I founded and scaled the Insurance Claims Vertical from 1 intern to 100 team members, expanded to 350+ workshops across 50+ cities, and grew revenues to $8M ARR. I also spearheaded GoMechanic Accessories’ international expansion to the Middle East. At rego, our mission is simple yet ambitious: To make “rego over Replace” the new standard for automotive sustainability in India.
