Hi, I’m Gyen, Managing Director at Prosemino. As the climate and energy tech sector continues to undergo significant changes and pressures, the demand for cleaner, more efficient energy storage and production methods is higher than ever. Yet the journey from the lab to market is a lengthy process laden with risk, disincentivising innovators and investors alike. Every fraction of a degree of global warming matters. Prosemino is a venture builder for clean energy innovators, working together to tackle the net-zero challenge, significantly reducing the time to market for these technologies. My own journey began with over seven years of research in developing nanomaterials and reactors for net-zero applications, working alongside academics and startups during my PhD at UCL and postdoctoral work at Queen Mary University of London. Now, I focus on guiding startups from their initial founding stages through to successful seed fundraising, ensuring they have the technical support, resources, and strategic direction needed to thrive.
