• Co-founded, along with a great team, one of the first Food Tech ventures in Bangalore (FoodTech term wasn't there yet :), offering homely, nutritionally balanced meals delivered to doorsteps in a complete Online model, incorporating number of innovations around menu and packaging.
• Among the most valuable experiences in my journey, huge learning to understand consumer space, building a complete new model from scratch, solving problems of not only Food but also Online ordering, Packaging and Logistics (timely delivery), not to mention challenges around people, processes and bureaucracy, Looked like we were running 3-4 ventures under one roof.
• The launch was great and very proud to see highly satisfied repeat (subscription based) happy customers for a long time. Everything was going as per plan just before we got caught-up with trap of early funding and the whole process made us realize the scale problem too early pushing us to take a step back.
• Changed the model to a small cafe and corporate catering just to keep the hard built cooking team in play and finally handed over to them.
