About

Herwig, a highly recognized and experienced Tech Deals expert, has worked in Corporate Finance as well as Deals Consulting since 2004 advising a multitude of clients ranging from SME to multinational tech and software corporations. A graduate from Vienna University of Economics and Business Herwig started his career at PwC in Frankfurt focusing on company analysis and valuations. In the course of numerous transactions he supported his clients with financial modelling and market analysis services. After having returned to Austria in 2007 Herwig expanded his scope throughout the deals continuum including business planning, due diligence, valuation and M&A advice among other services. In 2015 Herwig co-founded the Corporate Development/M&A business and led the international expansion as CEO and now Chairman. In addition to his management functions he authored various publications in economic literature and he still is a frequent speaker and trainer at Deals, Corporate Finance and Tech conferences. Moreover, Herwig serves on several Advisory Boards of IT and Tech companies leveraging his deep network and knowledge in the Tech space. Herwig has a CEMS master's degree in International Management, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is currently enrolled in the Master program for Renewable Energy in CEE at the Vienna University of Technology.
