• ARPA-E funded project to create web/mobile to encourage residential energy efficiency through behavior change and education. I worked with another Research Assistant on the Solar vertical.
• Solar Market Research: Performed technical, market, and user research on how to educate homeowners on solar energy and ways to purchase solar. Researched utility solar/renewable energy programs such as community solar and purchasing green power.
• Mock up development: Developed mock ups with content that makes it easy for a consumer to understand and participate in Solar programs. Mock ups sent to engineering for prototyping.

• Traveled to Mathare slums in Nairobi to apply the design thinking process and conduct extensive need finding, in partnership with the local NGO MYSA. Recognized the need for youth talent development through conversations with locals.
• Awarded $6,000 to research how technology can develop the talents of the youth living in Nairobi slums. Mobilized a team of volunteers to prototype solutions and gather rapid feedback from the youth. Recommended an SMS based poetry learning platform, based on user feedback.

• Pursued a long time dream of becoming an actor. I invested in 100 hours of television acting and improv training. This creative venture resulted in being cast as a Co-Lead in the Endicia web commercial series, an extra in 4 commercials, 1 print model job, and an invitation to audition for 25+ roles.
• This experience allowed me to improve my public speaking and emotional intelligence skills that are invaluable in life and business.

• Developed a deep understanding of the environmental health situation and cultural norms of a village of indigenous living without potable water, sanitation, or electricity. Appointed as the 1st Volunteer to serve in a new region in Panama.
