• Building and executing a unified platform strategy across the orgs, while keeping the products independent in execution.

• Joined Glance to lead the engineering function.
• Built and scaled the engineering team from a fledgling setup to a high performing, structured setup.
• Built a world class engineering platform scaling it from 5M to 50M DAUs , handling tens of thousands of QPS and petabytes of content flowing every month.
• Managed a reforged strong relationships with top OEMs in the smartphone industry. Worked closely with their product and engineering teams to scale the offerings.
• As a part of leadership team built detailed roadmaps around vision and execution, building strong rapport and synergy with the product, business and people leaders.

• Set up the India tech team - the product and tech team from scratch.
• Launched Truecaller Pay, Flash and True SDK in the first 6 months. Steadily growing the user base and improving experiences and efficiencies in the last few quarters.
• Have also built and launched smaller innovations that fill gaps in True portfolio such as Scan to pay, Truecaller Fast track numbers.

• Led the product revamp from ground up. Moved from a legacy monolith stack to a cloud powered SOA. Built the Engg team and groomed the Product and design team.

• Led all consumer facing development efforts at Quixey, while heading the India team. Played a key role in developing the product roadmap. Built a strong full stack team across backend, UI, design, product and content.
• I started working at Quixey after Quixey acquired Dexetra in Nov 2014. Our combined goal, was to use the Dexetra expertise around Android, ML, NLP and understanding of the consumer, to craft the deep search experience for Android.
• We built Launch - a smart android lanucher, with deep search and app cards integration on the Dexetra backbone. Deep search, with deep links helps apps surface content at the right time, even if the apps are not installed. It exposes instances of the app, based on what the user is looking for. This helped apps focus on the core service, rather than drive app adoption. Scaled to 300,000 users within 3 months of launch.
• With Google taking over all user data, Quixey became the alternative that many organizations would become comfortable with for data sharing and partnering.

• Founder, CEO of Dexetra - one of the first consumer tech companies with a Mobile first approach in India, with backing from Sequoia, Qualcomm, One97. In 2014, Dexetra got acquired by Mountain View based Quixey to augment their consumer facing and tech initiatives.
• Built consumer apps with deep tech around personalization, ML. Design first organization, with all the apps being featured in Google play store multiple times.

• Amongst the first 2000 apps to be launched in Playstore (2134)
• One of the first 100 apps in Play Store to reach 10k downloads
• Fast adopter, invited to multiple Google forums to talk about design and Android implementation
• Worked closely with Google, part of multiple early access programs by Google.

• Featured in AWS India case studies for cloud Architecture.

• Built Aisha with Micromax, the smart assistant in one of the popular Micromax phones in 2012.
• I assembled the founding team and architected our products like iris and friday both at the system level and at design level. Conceptualized the product, engineered and played key role in growth hacking them to scale it to millions of consumers world wide.
• We built products that were ahead of time. Products that needed huge advancements in mobile tech, and user adoption of mobiles for them to be successful. Iris was launched a day after Siri launched on iOS. We built Friday in 2012, which chronicled the users life and provided personalized recommendations through notifications, similar to Google now.
