About

Dr Andy Kuper AO is an investor and entrepreneur whose Profit with Purpose philosophy has shaped various industries and countries. Andy founded LeapFrog Investments in 2007. Within a decade, Fortune ranked LeapFrog as one of the top 5 Companies to Change the World, alongside Apple and Novartis. Today, LeapFrog’s companies serve 559 million people across Africa and Asia with healthcare, financial services or climate solutions. 403 million are low-income emerging consumers, often accessing essential services for the first time. In 2022 in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, Andy was awarded the Order of Australia (AO) for "distinguished service to the impact investing industry, to global business leadership, and to financial inclusion". LeapFrog companies have grown on average at 22 per cent per year since investment. Global investors have committed several billion dollars to the firm and its funds. Portfolio companies have been sold to category leaders including Prudential Plc, Swiss Re, AXA XL, Allianz, Standard Chartered, Fidelity, CFAO-Toyota and Novo Nordisk. Andy is a founding father of commercial impact investing, co-creating and launching multiple industry organisations and standards, with leaders such as the World Bank President, over 2 decades. He been recognised by the Economist Group for demonstrating how "to change the way we invest as individuals, institutions and societies". He has received leadership awards from WEF, YPO, IIS, EY and other global institutions. In 2023, he joined President Biden and King Charles at Windsor Castle, with 20 other global chief executives, to mobilise billions in innovative climate financing.
