Kady Srinivasan — CEO
I am currently the CMO of Freshworks (NASDAQ: FRSH). Previously I served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Lightspeed Inc. (NYSE: LSPD), a $1B revenue publicly traded company. During my tenure, I doubled market share in key regions by pivoting the company to an ICP strategy, quadrupled marketing efficiency, and executed a parallel geographic and domain approach to maximize product-market fit. These efforts led Lightspeed to grow 25% year-over-year at scale and achieve its first profitable quarter in two decades. I was recognized by Global HotTopics in 2024 as one of the world’s top 50 CMOs—and previously named one of the world’s top 20 Chief Marketing Officers in 2019. I have built my career on delivering significant revenue impact and guiding companies to successful IPOs. Before Lightspeed, I served as the first Global Head of Marketing at Klaviyo (and de facto GM of the PLG business), where I oversaw nearly 3x growth in ARR (from $150M to $600M) and laid the groundwork for a successful exit. While at Klaviyo, I scaled the marketing team from 15 to 150, led a comprehensive rebrand, established new market positioning that set us apart as a category leader, grew our PLG business by 50% annually, and launched an enterprise go-to-market motion, while driving a full pricing and packaging overhaul. Prior to Klaviyo, I held Chief Revenue Officer roles at Owlet—growing the company from $30M to $100M through COVID—and before that, I served as Global Head of GTM Marketing at Dropbox, contributing to its pre-IPO momentum. Across these roles as CRO, CMO, and GM, I have focused on architecting diverse go-to-market motions—including product-led growth, high-velocity inbound sales, and enterprise sales—to drive exponential growth. I’m particularly proud that nearly half of my leadership team has followed me across opportunities, and that many of my mentees have gone on to become CMOs of successful companies. I earned my MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—where I received the Leadership Excellence Award and won the Deloitte Case Competition—and hold an Engineering degree from Bangalore, India. As a sought-after speaker on SaaS and AI, I have been invited to speak at SaaStr every year since 2017, delivering keynote addresses and hosting thought leadership panels on AI, GTM strategies, and marketing.
