• As a summer research student in the computational neuroscience track, I learned the basic concepts of neuroscience modeling and its applications. Taught by the most experienced researchers from across the world, this course involved 4 hours of intensive hands-on lectures and an additional 3 hours of project work.
• I worked with a team to interpret a behavior dataset generated by a team at CalTech focused on the resident-intruder model. We devised hypotheses based on four different mice behaviors (mount, attack, investigate, and other) and tested these hypotheses using drift-diffusion, linear regression, and ex-gaussian models.

• Along with two other youngsters, I co-founded Nuclear 4 Peace, a comprehensive social media awareness campaign to smash the stigma surrounding nuclear science. This campaign included a Global Video Campaign (students from across the world were invited to create educational videos about the role of nuclear tech in sustainability), student competitions (slogan writing, art, quiz and public speaking competitions for school and university students across UAE) and partnerships with various stakeholders in the society including University of Sharjah, several entrepreneurs, artists, teachers and parents.
• This campaign witnessed the participation of more than 100 students across 22 schools and universities in the country. It was also duly appreciated by various members of the UAE Permanent Mission to IAEA.
