About

I am a technology leader and architect specializing in building AI-native products and agentic systems from the ground up. Most recently, as the CTO & Chief AI Officer at CoExperiences, I led the transition from traditional software models to an agent-native platform, architecting LLM-powered engines that solve complex human-centered challenges. What I Do I help companies fundamentally rethink how work gets done when AI agents operate alongside humans. This means redesigning architectures, workflows, and team structures to capitalize on what's now possible with LLMs and agentic systems. Core areas of expertise include: → Agent-Native Architecture: Designing systems where AI agents operate alongside humans as autonomous workers. → Pragmatic AI Deployment: Building production AI systems that deliver measurable business value. Designed agentic workflows that reduced projected headcount requirements by ~70%, enabling a platform to scale with a lean, high-efficiency structure. → Engineering Org Design: Rethinking team structure by moving from traditional frontend/backend silos to Product Engineer and Platform Engineer roles focused on end-to-end ownership and AI infrastructure. → Responsible AI: Designing AI systems where privacy and compliance are built in from the start. Zero PII in algorithms, anonymous preferences, GDPR Article 22 compliance. Building in Public & Community Engagement I believe the best way to understand the rapidly shifting AI landscape is to build within it. I actively support the ecosystem as a judge and breakout room leader for AI Engineering Bootcamps, helping the next generation of engineers master prompt engineering and agent architecture. Previously, I served as Executive in Residence at MATTER, advising healthcare startups on technology strategy. Whether I am leading a team of engineers or advising a board on AI readiness, my goal remains the same: to move past the hype and deploy technology that creates real business value and human impact.

Chief Technology & AI Officer

Feb 2024Present · 2 yrs 3 mos · Chicago, Illinois, United States · Hybrid

  • Led technology strategy and AI development for a startup building meaningful workplace relationships. Managed a team of seven.
  • What I built:
  • → Architected the CoExperiences Matching Engine, a two-stage AI system that sources curated events and matches them to intelligently-formed groups.
  • → Developed key innovations including LLM-based psychological profiling grounded in personality research, an event sourcing pipeline using Claude Opus 4.5 and GPT-5, and a scoring algorithm that matches groups to events based on compatibility.
  • → Embedded privacy-first principles throughout: zero PII in algorithms, anonymous exclusion preferences, and GDPR Article 22 compliance.
  • Where I took us:
  • → Authored the roadmap to transform human-operated pipelines into an agent-native platform where AI agents operate alongside humans as autonomous workers.
  • → Defined five autonomous agents spanning onboarding, operations, and customer success, with phased implementation and safety infrastructure.
  • → Operational Impact: Designed agentic workflows that reduced projected headcount requirements by ~70%, enabling the platform to scale while maintaining a lean, high-efficiency structure.
  • How I led:
  • → Translated business vision into technical roadmap, navigating resource constraints typical of early-stage startups.
  • → Instituted use of AI coding agents across the engineering team, driving productivity through agentic development workflows with Claude Code.
  • → Proposed engineering restructure from frontend/backend model to Product Engineer and Platform Engineer roles.
  • → Selected and managed Facet Digital partnership for mobile app delivery and Bulwark platform adoption.

  • Led the Life Sciences Consulting unit's initiative at Infosys to build capabilities around human and machine collaboration, focusing on how AI augments humans and transforms how work is done. Piloted the approach with Medical Affairs using Foundation Models.
  • Key accomplishments:
  • → Built an AI-powered biostatistics assistant for Medical Affairs using GPT-4. The system ingested natural language questions, generated and executed SAS statistical programs, and used the LLM to interpret outputs and compile plain-language answers.
  • → Led a Pharmacovigilance AI program with a global pharmaceutical firm, including Phase 2 scope refresh, Deep Learning approach for case insights, 2022-2023 roadmap approval, and framework for evaluating AI vendors.
  • → Worked with the Global Practice Leader for Organizational Transformation to define a change management framework for organizations rethinking how work is performed.
  • → Leveraged deep learning expertise developed since 2016 to rapidly produce thought leadership content following ChatGPT's release in November 2022. Content was used internally to upskill teams and externally with client leadership to position Infosys as a trusted advisor on generative AI.
