I am a senior technology and information systems leader with deep experience in national digital platforms, research information infrastructure, and AI-driven knowledge workflows. I served as Deputy Director General at the National Informatics Centre, Government of India, where I shaped large information systems used across ministries, research institutions, and public service organisations. Across my career, I built and managed platforms that strengthened India’s research and information ecosystem. I introduced international biomedical databases to India in the pre-Internet era, designed national-level indexing systems, and developed full-text digital collections and open-access services for scholarly communication.
