  • Role: My Specific assignment in the project was building technical capacity in Renewable Energy Enterprises in East Africa and Assist in Business Development.
  • Other tasks within DEEP EA project were;
  •  Bridge the gap in technical shortcomings in the Energy Enterprises in East Africa.
  •  Conduct one to one and training sessions on Renewable Energy Technologies with entrepreneurs and
  • ensure quality assurance and benchmarks for products.
  •  Visit energy enterprises in the East African Region and monitor their progress.
  •  Develop better techniques on production of different energy appliances like energy saving stoves.
  •  Assist in Business development Services.
  •  Recruit, train and monitor technology mentors in East Africa for the DEEP EA project.
  •  Prepare budgets for technology mentoring activities for the three countries and monitor the budgets.
  •  Prepare quarterly reports on the project progress for donors.
  •  Report on all RE technology activities undertaken in the Project.

  •  Mapping out 100 sites, for renewable energy potential and deployment in Kenya.
  •  Studying sources of energy currently employed at this sites.
  •  Socio - Economic Study on the areas.
  •  Creating contact and liaising with local C.B.Os and administrative offices.
  •  Writing reports on potential Energy Centres in areas of interest.
  •  Leading the technical team and deploying Renewable energy technologies in different parts of Kenya.
  •  Carrying out maintenance on existing Energy Centre sites.
